I do not recommend Visionworks. You are never physically in the same room as the doctor, he she could be anywhere around the world. The eye exam is done by the receptionist using 3-4 different computers. Service is terrible. Like almost every where else they seem to be short of staff. Feel sorry for the people that work there. If you take your prescription with you make sure they write your PD # on it in case you want order glasses some where other than Visionworks.

Worst call service. Expect to wait 20-40 minutes to speak to a person while their automatized phone service keeps referring you to their website, which doesn't actually show any appointments available for the indefinite future. Or else I wouldn't be calling in the first place. The call service doesn't have all the available information and will not actually connect you to anyone working at the store who is knowledgeable. However, they will gladly place you on hold again while they play "telephone" back and forth with the employees in the store who do actually have available appointments that they just don't show on the website. I wish I could say this is an isolated incident, but this has been re occurring since they switched to this call service during corona. I have been a customer of vision works for almost 10 years bc once you get there in person and deal with the staff they are great. But the process to get there is atrocious.

Damn near impossible to get in contact with the office. Most of the staff needs customer service training, there’s one or two that are great. I’m giving 2 stars because they’re cheap (comes at a cost) & because they participate with almost all insurances.

Waited gor 30 minutes and left. Only 2 people working and nobody at the desk.

Yeah, i had the experience. Very frustrating. I had to go there in person because i could not get thru via phone at all. They told me their phones aren't working. How do you run a business with no phones?!! Beats me. Just go there in person, it's the only way you will make contact.
Go there and ask for a copy
Agreed the automated system is ok, but they should also have a way of reaching the actual store. I booked 2 appointments through the system, one for my son and one for me. They booked both appointments for my son. When i arrived they had the wrong folder pulled and it delayed everything. Wont even go into how dismissive the "Dr" was about my son needing glasses, despite me seeing him squinting all the time, and him missing half the letters on the reading chart. She asked him 3 times if it was just him wanting glasses. I'm worried about him driving and not seeing properly. We'll be taking him elsewhere for another exam.
Ronald, our best advice would be to contact your local office or insurance provider for eligibility details.
Hello Johnna, walk ins are only for repairs/adjustments. An appointment is required for eye exams.
They do accept those insurances.
