Hello I have a friend who looking for a room that's not too expensive and have reasonable prices it's just him he do works and just looking for a safe environment he can stay for a while until he gets in his feet.

What you need to search for is a NJ Rooming or Lodging House. They provide one bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower or bathtub (per 8 residents) which they clean every 24 hours if you share a with other renters. Provide automatic smoke or heat detectors. Provide sprinklers, if there are 6 renters or more. Landlord makes repairs without charge, unless you caused the damage. Must get your permission to enter your room. State of NJ governs resident's rights at rooming/lodging houses. Good luck!
