Best food we had while in New York. The chefs choice is the way to go. Everything was perfect.

I LOVE this place. I’ve been using it as a celebratory restaurant for fun stuff in life. New jobs, friends in town or just a random visit to a really good restaurant. The restaurant has great service, perfect sharing portions and amazing drinks. I almost always opt for a bottle of wine when I visit and found that 6-7 plates of food with a hungry partner will have you perfectly satisfied when dessert lands. Pictured is the rude little pig, truffle rigatoni (a must have), lettuce wedges, burrata, salt/pepper shrimp, spicy tuna tartare, strawberry cinnamon glazed ribs (a must have), ricotta bacon doughnuts (a must have) and key lime pie. Now don’t think because I didn’t include “must have” that the dishes aren’t any good. Everything tasted amazing but these dishes are what the restaurant have been “known” over the years of me frequenting the menu and observing subtle yet delicious changes as the seasons shift. Reservations are through Resy and are recommended. This place gets loud and packed by 8pm on a Friday night. My next visit will be to their sister restaurant, Xixa, as I also heard good things. If you’re in the area, reserve a table at Traif.

IN. CREDIBLE. Good price, creative food, amazing cast of characters that work there. Not pretentious and lots of Polo & Pan music playing :)

Loved this! Such a cute ambiance and food was absolutely amazing. Tasted better than some of the more “trendy” restaurants that cost more than this!! Hidden gem!
