My family stayed in the historic Benson House here for a relaxed reunion/retreat the past few days. The house is huge and there was plenty of room for all our extended family (about 17 people). The house is “antique”, so gear your expectations accordingly; beds were comfortable and we had enough hot water. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen, though a little smallish, sufficed. We grilled out several times and that worked very well. The grounds are beautiful and there’s lots to do for all ages. We saw groundhogs, deer, raccoons, and dozens of squirrels. Our favorite thing was sitting and talking around the fire pit (wood is provided), gazing out at the magnificent view of Long Island Sound. The location is secluded but relatively close to grocery, restaurants, shopping, and vineyards. The property manager, Matt, was super responsive and went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating. This was probably the best vacation we have ever taken all together and would highly recommend Camp DeWolfe - we would love to return!

I went there around 2015 with my cousin and her church group, the food was great, there were plenty of activities, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. Before going I was a little skeptical as I'd really only heard bad things about "Christian Camps" but even as an agnostic I felt more than welcomed and everyone I spoke to was incredibly respectful. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

I went to camp DeWolfe in 1975 it was the worst experience in my life they would not let me call my Mom and stepfather . Three of my camp friends found away out and one their brothers came for us. As an adult I opt out from sending my son to camp because of my experience.

I was a camper at Camp Dewolf in 1968 and 1969! My nephew also attended in 1990’s. When I go through the pictures on the website, it brings such a smile to my face! A lot has changed but I still see the chapel. The beach was always the favorite part of day. When the whistle blew you had to do a buddy check! The steps leading to the beach seemed like forever! We didn’t have railings! Just our legs and each other for support. My fondest memory was Mr. Russell . He called me pumpkin pie! He was the nicest compassionate person I ever met. I will cherish these memories forever!
