It is a fun stop for kids to explore how different things in the north country work like the power damn.

Such a fun little museum for the kids, we had a wonderful morning here with kids aged 4 to 7

In addition to going to the museum's regular exhibits about five or six times in June and July, we also did a couple of special drop-in workshops on fossils and sharks with Dan on the weekends. Dan handles presenting complicated subject matter to very distracted four-year-olds like our son in a wonderful way that still imparts the information without either "dumbing it down" or drowning them in details they can't understand. We can't say enough good things about every experience we've had at the museum and are so glad we chose to get our membership at the beginning of the summer!
