It is important to feel like your health concerns are appropriately and professionally managed, as well as being private, in a healthcare facility. That was not my experience at this CityMD location. The staff openly and publicly mocked my condition in the lab room. Everyone in the waiting room and out front heard them, and when I mentioned it to the doctor he tried to say that they share information for professional purposes. I was upset that I should feel embarrassed about my health in a medical facility. He then proceeded to ask me to hop up and down as part of my physical because that is what he "has kids do" when they have stomach problems (the implication being that I was behaving like a child for complaining). My recommendation is to choose another location and to only use CityMD of you have no other option. I'm reading other people's reviews and they have life-threatening issues that were totally missed by the doctors at this location. That is shameful and this place should honestly needs an overhaul or it should not even be in operation.

Sent me a bill for a PCR test and antibody test this last week that was dated for May 2020 - should’ve been covered by the CARES act. I tried straightening it out with billing multiple times, but every time I call I’m left on hold for two hours then automatically disconnected. I ended up paying it because I don’t want a derogatory mark on my credit- but they are a total scam. I no longer support or will ever visit a City MD if I can help it. I hope someone successfully sues them.

I don’t write many reviews, but CityMD asked me to, so okay: I presented with severe chills, a 101.4 F fever, and a (visibly) sore throat. After negative flu and Covid tests, the doctor said it was just a cold (“rhinovirus or adenovirus”) and sent me home. It was not just a cold. Two days later I tested positive for strep, and the day after that, I was admitted to the hospital for difficulty breathing. I needed a critical care specialist and high-flow (100%) oxygen. I’ve been here more than a week now, completed a course of broad-spectrum antibiotics, and I’m still on (much less) oxygen and methylprednisolone. If I’d listened the doctor—who basically did nothing but dismiss me—I’d probably be dead now. (The doctor also relayed some Covid misinformation to me, claiming that natural immunity post-infection is solid for 90 days. With the currently circulating variants, this is dead wrong.) I would not, under any circumstances, recommend CityMD.
