Just go to Port Jeff Village. Feel the vibe, grab an ice cream cone and walk along the beach or in the great dog park. Filled with energy. Especially in the summer!

Port Jeff Downtown is a wonderful place where people come hang out, especially from 6pm. Great restaurants, nice marina just by the ferry station, awsome experience to eat by the sea !

Its a fairly normal train station from what you would expect from a commuter railroad. It acts as a Terminus for the LIRR. Trains start and stop their runs here.

I'm from Rochester and I now live in Orlando, FL. I came upon Port Jefferson because I'm an avid railfan and found their train station on Google Maps. Looks like a Very nice community. Just a 63yr old disabled veteran with alot of time on my hands!!

The Port Jefferson community is gorgeous. Some not so great parts but all in all a nice place, I used to work in that town.

We have resident lots but there are many spots for nonresidents including street parking.

Is there parking at the railway station and if so how much does it cost?

Have to park on south side of tracks off Railroad Ave and it's free. North side is village residents only.

From port Jefferson there is an 8:34pm, 9:41pm & 11:22pm to NYC all three have a transfer at either Huntington or Hicksville.
