It's just a small congested unit with bunch of STEM toys, my kids spent an hour enjoyed, I personally would prefer centerreach or middle island or Longwood libraries where you find more pleasure visiting instead of this place.

However, we recommend your child be an independent mover to get the most out of the exhibit and be able to interact and play. Yes. We have been bringing my son there since he was 2. He is now 7 and still loves it. There is a sand box, huge rice boat to play in, hot wgerls, LEGO, arts and crafts, etc...

No. There is a small paid lot behind it, and there are other paid lots around Port Jeff. If you have a town sticker you can park in the free lot near the ferry then walk to the explorium.
