Once you sign up you can never terminate your contract this is how they claim to have 30k-50k members and yet can’t seem to employ professionals who actually help. Their caseworkers are a joke they have around 3/4 doing the work of one but all harassing calling you non stop yelling down talking never helping you with food vouchers they promise and their training program is another run around that never happens I wish this agency got new leadership because it’s been lacking since 2009 probably even sooner. Risk your own safety when contacting this place be advised.

This place is amazing! For decades they have been leading the fight against HIV & today, they continue to help countless people. 👏👏👏 From job readiness, housing, health, food, medicine, clothing ...the list goes on & on. The staff is kind, understanding & supportive. They are working tirelessly to make a *real* difference in people's lives. 💗 Thanks to the founders, board, staff & supporters. Keep up the fight 💪

Hmmmmmmm......good question. Transparency not.
Please contact Ex Director Jay Gabor or Donna Pine.
Richard, they did not help me when they were open 3 years ago. I was referred to their case management team, filled out a bunch of forms, then was told after a year of bs they no longer do their own case management. I was then referred by them to Housing Works, who informed me they could not help me. Last I heard GMHC outsources its case management to another nonprofit agency.
How do I know?
Please note GMHC does not have a camp. For more information about services and programs, visit gmhc.org.
