We were there for a business dinner. Most good was on the salty side: broccolini, beef bourguignon and lamb. but the dessert was quite nice.

The staff at Bistro Bis are top notch AMAZING! Everything I ate was so delicious and so were the drinks as well. I will definitely return to dinner here Every time I'm in DC.

Always perfect. Perfect place to eat alone at the bar because from the front of the house all the way back everyone who works there is friendly and cordial. Usually there's other people eating at the bar alone because it's a hotel restaurant. Perfect place to take clients for dinner particularly when Congress is not in session because it gets pretty busy. I have been coming here for at least a decade for very well made French cuisine with a beautiful DC flair. The quality of staff is matched by the quality of the food. Guillermo makes it his business to get to know the regulars by name as do several of the staff and it's a much appreciated touch. I've never had a bad meal, the watermelon gazpacho when in season is quite special. Pommes frites are my remedy for tough days. My friends loved the burger but I don't eat meat. I always save room for dessert, some days they would make a petit four plate that is perfect for visually and tastefully impressive sharing.
