Day surgery staff was very pleasant AND helpful. On the day of discharge I barely met my nurse in the am. My discharge took several hours and I never saw my nurse again. Someone else discharged me. I do understand that things get very busy but no one could help my husband with questions regarding my discharge. He was told “I’ll get the nurse” but she never returned. Only one nurse assessed my one operative site and no one asked about the other. However, If I needed help I definitely would have asked. I was not happy with the post-op care

From the ER, surgical staff and to the fifth floor, everyone was nothing short of wonderful! The nurses were so caring and compassionate. Casey and Garrett in the ER were both so nice! Garrett was my mother’s nurse recently and then mine in this visit. He was great both times! Very considerate and kind. My surgical nurse was very sweet as well and did her best to calm my nerves. The fifth floor will always have a special place in my heart. My father was with them for a month a few years ago and they became friends to us. When I arrived I was greeted warmly by Mary who remembered taking care of my father. My nurses, Jessica, Lillian, Vicky and Shelly were precious! Our hospitals and staff have gone through so much in the last few years but St. Joseph’s has been a blessing to our family time and again.

My experience at St. Joseph’s heart center was amazing. Starting with Ms Joanna from admissions, the wonderful lady that signed me in at door, the gentleman at the heart center that made sure I was processed correctly and escorted me to second floor, the young lady that processed me into system, my nurses, Phoebe, Little Jessica and Big Jessica were amazing (I was not the best patient with the IV)and my surgeon, assistant surgeon and surgical staff. I cannot express how grateful I am for the care I received from St Joseph’s heart center. They were all so kind, caring and made the experience a lot less stressful. I’m so grateful !! I would highly recommend

Red Roof Inn, it’s right next door, but you might want to go to a better facility if you have a choice.

Beware that you will get charged from an outside company.
They only have drop off times 10a-12p and 3p-5p if the patient is admitted. Once you've left the er that's it until discharge
