Do not come here. Long wait time, extremely unprofessional nurses, and junior doctors.

Urology office won't send a message to your doctor or even give you the option to speak to a nurse. I'm not sure how the other departments operate. Avoid the ER too.

The staff at Sibley (especially 7west, the psych department) are some of the best people I‘ve ever met but how the hospital handles you once you are out is cruel & unethical. TLDR; I was involuntarily committed under false pretenses & now owe $4,000 without any of the discharge resources I was promised. I was involuntarily committed to 7west. They tout themselves as only being voluntarily. This is not true. The woman at the ER said “you can either go voluntarily or we can call the police, which would be ugly, & you’ll go anyway.” I told her I couldn’t afford it & she assured me it would only be $15, showing me on her screen that that is all I would owe. My actual time at 7west was great. The nurses are amazing. It was very healing. I was promised they would set me up with a therapist & a dietician upon discharge. This did not happen. I was prescribed two medications I did not know anything about & 2 months later, still no referral. I called the number listed, which should have been for the manager Ivy. Someone from an entirely different department picked up to tell me that, on my discharge plan, it literally just said “call your insurance.” It’s been 3 months. I paid the $15 & I have just received a bill for $4,000. I cannot pay $4,000 & I told them that but they said the same thing, call your insurance but this is what you owe. I was not given a choice. I missed work because they told me I could not leave. For a week, I was not allowed to use plastic knives. Then I’m pushed out to set up everything they said they would & also I owe $4,000??? Y’all are unethical.

I couldn't be happier with the excellent care my father received at Sibley Hospital. He came in late last night with very low sodium and was admitted overnight. He was greeted immediately by triage RN Liz, PA Gupi Howie and later by ED Director Dr. Nadia Eltaki from the Emergency Department. All were knowledgeable and kind and made him feel like a real VIP. Though my mother was nervous, they made her feel very at ease. After admission, he was cared for by Dr. Nadia Sirdar and RN Sonya. Dr. Sirdar was able to quickly obtain nephrology consultation and coordinate care with his outpatient provider. She was in close touch with me regarding his discharge instructions and gave very clear and logical recommendations. All of the professionals that cared for him in the Emergency Department and later on the 6th floor were wonderful and exceeded our expectations. As a physician, I know that times are challenging in hospitals right now and I must say, Sibley is doing something right! I'm very happy to have this excellent hospital right down the street from my family should we ever need Emergency services again.

Horrible & Expensive-- FORCED parking in garage-- nowhere else available -- gets terrible CROWDED!! No passes ( discounts available) --!!!!!!?????
Parking is expensive
Yes they do!
Yes it is. My baby was delivered there last Feb and I was happy with the services and attention. You can even go and meet the team and do a walk tour in advance I believe. Go for it.
www.sibley.org. You can search by specialty under "find a doctor".
Average costs are around $1000-1600 for an Abdominal CT. Note: rough estimate. I don't work with billing inside a hospital so I don't have accurate costs. Would be ideal to contact the billing department to get an accurate cost.
If you have the refill request fax it to the office or physically go into the office. Hope this helps.
You may have to park at the open gated garage
They might have rooms for that but i think they are premium and cost more. Call the hospital and ask them.
Yes
not sure however there are 3 security desks at each entry they can give you that information next time you arrive
8am/9am pending on offices opening...If you go to ER, 24/7
I'm sure you can but it's always good to give them a call to see what needed to be done. They're quick to respond
Via Phone Cafe hotline
I don't know. You might want to Google.
Not too sure again but think its $12
Yes, they took great care of me when I really needed help.
Yes the 7 West Facility
I dont know. However, I was self pay. I'm on a durable payment plan. This Hospital saved my Life. I was diagnosed with a Pulmonary Embolism on February 28th because the Hospital performed test based on my symptoms without having any Health Insurance. Blessings.
I didn't know , you have to call Sibley to get that information
No, but there is a nice gift shop in building A. Many hospitals don't allow fresh flowers in inpatient units now.
Good afternoon Ms. Almeida, I will check with someone who may be able to help find the answer to your question....
It was Founded: 1890
Thank you so much! That actually makes me feel great! I appreciate it!
I guess it depends on what you trying to have done. I have Medicaid and have been to Sibley and Wahington Hospital Center. Never had a problem. You can try calling DC 311 and ask them what office to talk to.
Sibley Ambulatory Surgery Center for Outpatient Services
I dont know off hand. They do have a large parking lot and a parking structure. You might give them a call. They may be able to give you info on hotels and restaurants in the area. Good luck and God Bless.
The rooms are private but I was there for delivery. I am sure they are private for other patients too.
Call the hospital. I doubt that they are required to keep records for more than a few years after you were legally recognized as an adult.
Visiting hours
Find an Ob/ Gyn who delivers there. You can Google this.
