I have to say Cay Homes over exceeded our expectations with our brand new house. We have been living in our home a few months now and could not be any happier with choosing this builder. Davianna and Nate were very professional and responsive to our questions. The only issue we had was that our closing was pushed back due to inspections being delayed. This can be very frustrating for a buyer but this is the new norm in this market now because of the low supply/high demand in our area and worker shortage in the health department. We understood that this was happening with every builder not only Cay Homes as we have friends that chose another builder and had to wait 6 more months for their home to be completed. For those that are in research for builders Cay Homes is the right one! The wait is worth it.

Where to start. 1st the closing date as of now has been pushed back twice and over at least a month now but by the time we close it’ll be closer to 2 or possibly even 3 months late. Not very good communication between builder and agent. We had to call the Health Office to find out why the home failed an inspection. Called the builders office and they didn’t even know! We moved from Missouri and got a rental awaiting our 2nd closing date and we’re forced to move into a hotel because the date was pushed back again. Dipping into our life’s savings. Builder refuses to credit the sale of the home for their mistakes. Builder won’t accept responsibility for failing an inspection. Just a terrible experience so far and we still haven’t moved into what we were so excited to buy. The home looks beautiful and WILL be a great home for our family, no question about that. It’s just the whole experience about everything else. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone as of today.
