This is not the first time I had an issue with Fairfax Water. I am writing a review as their actions are unacceptable. When I got home from work on September 28,2022, I found a notification from Fairfax Water stating the following: Our Meter Technician was at your property today. Please contact our Meter Maintenance Department to: -Schedule the repair or relocation of the meter reading device attached to your house. -Please call As I inspected the meter, the Fairfax Water employee already completed the replacement without giving any prior notification. As a result of the unauthorized meter installation, my siding was cut, and there’s a hole as well, which could lead to water damage, especially since the winter season is around the corner. Please note that I did not receive any prior communication via e-mail, mail, or phone call. My siding was recently replaced on September 9, 2022. Fairfax Water caused the damage to my newly replaced siding. Due to Fairfax Water’s lack of proper communication and negligence, it will cost me to have my new siding fixed. A formal complaint has been sent to Fairfax Water and Better Business Bureau. I demand for Fairfax Water to cover siding replacement expense in order to fix the damage that they created.

I requested an inspection a month ago be done due to a orange cone placed on a deep hole indicating issues on the land, just bought home, and they said they would…still waiting on it even though I made them aware there may be a water leak……

Helena was the best a great customer service representative! I spoke to another and she was awful I don't remember her name but not only rude but utterly useless.

I am a plumber. And dealing with these people to get water turned off is an excruciatingly painful experience. Period. Avoid at all costs

They can be inside or outside the house..in the ground..just depends on the house
If there is construction near by dirt could be getting in to the water.
