My experience was horrible and extremely upsetting due to Dr. Varanelli. He walked into my room with a cold, argumentative, and irritated demeanor. He questioned over and over why I “wanted” my ordered procedure done as he believed it was unnecessary and did not want to perform it. I had to ARGUE with a doctor to have him take my current state of health serious enough to do his job!! As a health care patient all we’re wanting is care, compassion, and answers. I absolutely DID NOT receive this from Dr. Varanelli. Instead I was attacked, dismissed, and uncared for. It is very upsetting and frightening to know there is a doctor of his nature actively “caring” for patients. Knowing there are patients who aren’t brave enough to self-advocate I voiced my experience and concerns to his supervisor in hopes this horrible experience will never occur to another patient again.

Pretty awful patient service. I got the attached text message the morning of my appointment. I arrived 15 mins early and used their check in link as directed and 5 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time I decided to call them instead of waiting. They said “oh you can just come in”. 35 minutes AFTER my appointment they tell me I can’t be seen until After the next appointment because I didn’t come in until after my appointment time when I had been there all along and only followed THEIR instructions. And all they did was argue with me, tell me I was late and that I would need to wait. Perhaps if you don’t want your patients to wait in their cars you should stop sending them outdated covid instructions to do so? Thanks. FOLLOW UP: the woman I spoke to earlier apologized when she brought me back and was very nice so I’ve edited my rating. I understand it wasn’t HER fault, but the practice really should update their system if they want to prevent this from happening again.

The facility is clean. The staff was professional and efficient. I was in and out in no time. Would come again in the future, if needed.

We do not have an open MRI in our practice but we do have MRIs that are in an ambient room. These rooms are designed for claustrophobic patients. They are equipped with special videos and lighting to create a calm atmosphere. The ambient MRI's are available at our Ballston and Lansdowne locations.
