There are many great places to picnic. On some of the trails the have more secluded areas you can go to. They also have less private areas made for tourists. I believe one of them has a picnic table or two, I don't remember for sure though.

No, Eastern Neck is only open to hunting on certain days, and on those days the entire island is closed to the public. The only day left this season is Feb 4. See the refuge website.

Dont pet it. Bring in your housecats if you have any. They generally are shy of people and will run away.
What does private venture mean? Building condos or something Worse? God help the park
