Went to return an Amazon item. Had the item boxed, just needed them to print a label. When the lady came to the counter, I explained I needed to return an item and that I needed to email them the label to print, she then tells me they charge over $5 just to print a label. I have returned many items using the UPS drop off locations and have never been told they would charge me to print a label. The item was only $10, so I would be paying over half the value of the item just to have them print a label. When I told her every other UPS Store, FedEx and even the wonderful USPS let’s you print a label for free, she told me “well this is a franchise location so we charge what we want. If you want it for free, then go to the library”. Rude as can be and we were all having talk loudly because one of them had a kid running around the store and yelling. Such a shame because this location is walking distance from my house, but I will just drive to another location. The UPS Store in Alexandria was very friendly and helpful.

Like the other person said, lines out of the door, poor customer service, awful attitudes, simply unprfessional. Stay away unless you just really need to use this place. Horrible! You go, you'll see!

Yes you can drop off prepaid UPS labels. We will provide a receipt.

No. Prepaid or Amazon returns are walk-in service. It normally takes 10 to 15 seconds to scan your label or code.
Yes. We have local and long distance fax service. We can also scan documents to your email address.
The store is located on Pennsylvania Ave SE, which is a major street. There is a bus stop immediately to the left of the store and other stops at the end of the block at the Eastern Market metro stop. Metro rail is also an option.
