It varies. A first visit could be under $50 at some vets but some shelters have special events where an animal's treatment has already been paid for. Then, there are places where a new pet appointment can be $200 or so. It really depends on what you need and what the dog needs. If this is a new pet, call their office and ask them if they can examine your pet for what you can afford, or if they have specials for new or well-patient visits. But I'd be prepared for more than $35... If the dog is sick or injured, then it's only up up up from there. I hope this helps! Good health to you and your dog.
