Van Hardin is the Minister. His sermons leave you edified, always something to learn. The Church members are welcoming, the lessons taught from the scripture. Questions are welcome to ensure understanding. Welcoming environment.

Questions & Answers

Do they have a food pantry?

Jamal Alston | Oct 2, 2019
Tanya Dillard | Oct 2, 2019

@Jamal Alston, Yes, we do have a food pantry. The pantry is usually open on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month. However, we are not doing a 2nd pantry this month bcs of the holiday. This coming Saturday, Nov 17th, we will give out free produce. This happens once a month and is usually on the Saturday following the 3rd Wednesday of the month. (Could be 3rd Sat or 4th Sat). This month we're doing a week early bcs of the holiday. Tuesday pantry begins at noon but doors may open at 11:00am. People begin lining up as early as 7:30 or 8:00am. Saturday produce day starts at 11:00am. Again, people start lining up early. We request that you call the church ofc before pantry day to let us know you're coming for pantry so we can plan properly. The number is 301-894-5412. Just leave a message if no one answers. Hope this helps.

Yes, typically they do. It will commence around 7 PM. The reason I say "around 7 PM", because many congregations in the DC Metro area begin @ 7:30 PM in consideration of the heavy traffic flow in the area. To be on the safe side, I would try to show up at 7 PM. Hope it helps. Also, no one may have answered the phone because there is likely no office attendant there full-time.
