We had an appt. for my wife today 8/18/22 @ 9:40 am. The RN who saw my wife was kind & professional. She recommended further examinations they could not preform, follow ups & medications to ease her discomfort and pain she was having. You would think that after being prescribed medications to treat a patient which the RN felt was need of due to her medical condition would be a priority. "Not" we called twice about the prescription and were told it would be done by the end of the day (5 pm). Well at 4:55 pm after I again confirmed with the pharmacy that the prescription had not been called in to the pharmacy (or any Walgreens pharmacy) I called the office to see if they were going to take care of this for my wife only to find out that the phones had already been re-directed to the answering service and they had gone home for the day. but the service said the would send them a message. Now it' after 7pm and the pharmacy is closed and still no prescription. Being that this is Thursday and "YOUR OFFICE" is closed to Monday it means my wife is just S**t out of luck and must continue with her pain and discomfort. You would think the medical professionals would have true compassion for what they due but obviously the staff at this office does not see it this way otherwise they would have done there "JOB". How unprofessional can you be not to take care of your patients after you see them. You have no problem taking our money though!. You can bet that I will be contacting AdventHealth about the rude staff and un-professional response/care for my wife got after her visit. Dr. Metchick, your staff may not care about my wife or treatments that they prescribe, but you can bet I do. If this is the way your staff treats paying patients you should fire them a hire people who care.

Dr Metchick and her staff are beyond amazing! They listen, they allow you to ask any questions you have, and they talk to you as if you matter. For over 10 years I accepted life for what it was and Dr Metchick stepped in and asked me what I felt was best for me and listened and did it. She truly saved me from anymore discomfort and gave me my life back! Bedside manner was amazing and I am forever grateful for her and her staff. Thank you Dr Metchick for saving me!

My experience was laughable. Their office policies are ridiculous and breed hostile interactions. All of the panic caused prior to my appointment was unnecessary. Ultimately, I feel Dr. Metchick is responsible for how her office is run and there are enough negative reviews here to illicit a change. Pre-patient registration is paper based. It must be completed and mailed in before an appointment can be scheduled. I expected a scheduling call within a few days however it took a week. My appointment was rescheduled on their end 24 hours prior. Good enough notice, but I was also notified the day of reschedule that the appointment would need to be pushed back 20 minutes. Fine, I could juggle. When I get to the office, I realize my insurance card is in another purse. The office was still running behind schedule so I texted my husband to snap shot the card. All this was communicated to the front desk. The front desk told me I had to pay out of pocket or submit insurance within 15 minutes otherwise my appointment would be canceled. After some talk and requesting to leave my credit card on file until the text came through, my request was rebuffed. The 15 minute counter had started. When asked if they bill immediately and why there could not be a grace period through the appointment, front desk replied that this was policy. As soon as I find another doctor, I’m leaving. It would be great if a decent OBGYN could open its doors in NSB. There is a need for good care here and another option than this health center.

She does not conduct deliveries as the local hospital she’s contracted with doesn’t have deliveries. She only conducts procedures and operations related to Gynecology and does so on a regular basis. I don’t think she would even be able to based on the fact that she’s on-call at the hospital so often and reserves each Friday for OP days.
