Very fast paced moving environment. You learn while doing, not just out of a book! Extremely hands on. Please remember, this is a lifestyle change, not just a job change.

Great Training experience. CTC Grad. Instructors want you to learn and understand the importance of being behind the wheel of a Class A vehicle. They are well experienced and give you good knowledge that you need to be a safe and successful Commercial driver. Big thanks to Ken and Lawrence !

Excellent experience! Sharon the recruiter was very kind, quick and helpful the whole time.when I started the 4 week training, Ken and Lawrence the Instructors show there passion for trucking and I love it! They want you to pass,.you just have to work for it. they give you the seat time and It's up to you If you want to get your cdl. Thank you to mr. Ken, Very respectful! Thank you mr Lawrence. I did feel I was treated a bit low and disrespected by someone a few times, wont name any names and if I did REALLY welI they'd say "good job"... but I came here with a clean/safe driving record and am here to learn to drive a combination vehicle. I dont know how to drive a combination vehicle, that's the reason I came here. I did work 100%to learn and get better Not to be belittled when I mess up. ..summary, A great experience overall, and I do know how to drive a combination vehicle now!! All 74 feet!! Thank you everyone at cypress for everything! Work hard and you will be rewarded! Oh ps, mr Robert the examiner is very patient and kind . The coolest and best examiner I've encountered! Thank you!

We are 100% automatics on all new trucks. Dumps are still 10 speeds.
they do put you with a trainer
2 weeks if you've driven before, 7 weeks if you're a new driver. If you don't get it in 7 weeks, they give you another 2, and if you STILL don't get it by then,...
None. CYPRESS now has a driving school
You will need to call a recruiter. Each case is different.
Most likely with them. They are somewhat picky.
Depends on how you run ,you get paid by the mile so the more miles the more money, per mile varies from experience, you can average 2500 to 3000 if you work,2500 to 3000 miles that is.somewhere around 1200 gross
Yes we have a dry van fleet and many dedicated runs to chose from.
No they are company drivers only
You might, but they mostly have automatics....thats the majority of their trucks.
Yes you will train in a manual. The company is converting over to auto trans. Cypress has made a big push to convert over.
Has to be 10 years
Very rarely do I bring home less than a grand. Also depends on when you leave the house after your 34 at home, but a grand a week is not hard to do.
I was living in fort myers for a few years, long as you run that clock down, it was rare that i wasnt home by friday
Boots or tennis shoes. Pants or shorts all depends on when n wat kind of weather it is
I'm assuming if you're asking this question you can't pass a piss test. I wouldn't even come in. They do a hair follicle test as well that goes back 12 months. My question is, what trucking company do you think wouldn't preform a DOT drug test? 🤔
Depends on how much you owe on your contract, we have an option to pay the contract out to the company you worked for.
Your DAC will provide up to 10 years in the case of criminal history. For infractions and traffic violations, i think it's 3 years, but as long as it's not a "serious" infraction, they really only care about 1 year back. The issue here is "insurability" (will their commercial insurance cover you...)
Hair, if worried pay an have your own test done about 100bucks worth it
No, an if you dont have a cdl, u can take the school there, an they just did a pay bump, great company, been here a year an a half now
They used to get you home every night if you lived in jacksonville
Orientation is 100 a day after deduction you take 409 dollars a week it can last from 3 weeks to 7 weeks depend on you experience .then once you start working the pay is base in what you do
You can start tomorrow. If you want they hire new people that just got out of school now if you want to home every day there is no much money doing that
Depends how far you live from the yard your trainer is picking you up at. You normally schedule with your trainer.
So true plenty home time an every major holiday off with pay after 6months
No, mine wasn't perfect. Call recruiting and the will let you know in a few minutes. Tell them I referred you please.
A background check will be done and the results will be reviewed. Best advice is to be honest about everything. A decision can't be predicted. You will need to apply and allow it to be reviewed by administration.
