I enjoyed my visit to Stitchology--I found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful, going above and beyond to help me find things that I need, even though I will need to order them directly through my machine's manufacturer. I enjoyed perusing the fabric section and look forward to having a new project and excuse to stop in. The classes and parlor hours they offer seem like a really great way to grow in your sewing skills and I hope to stop in for those some time.

Visited this location during a trip to New Mexico, and their fabric was gorgeous! The staff were knowledgeable and Accommodating.

Shortly after I walked into this store with a friend, I walked up to the two staff members who were talking to one another at the desk and, although I tried to engage them in conversation about the shop, it was clear that they were not at all interested in talking to either one of us. When I gave up and walked away, they returned to their private conversation, apparently relieved that I stopped bugging them. It was the first time I had ever been in their shop, though I had noticed it many times when shopping at the Co-Op next door. My friend and I perused all that was on offer at the store, and she did end up purchasing some felted material. I noticed that they have some cute prints. The Frida Kahlo selection was adorable, as was the Lady of Guadalupe fabric, one of which I thought I might purchase at some time in the future. Unfortunately, other than quilting material, I did not find much in the way of natural fabrics that I like. I would have bought some thin silk fabric to line a linen jacket I already have the fabric to make but they had no silk at all, at least that I could see. Quilters who live in this neighborhood will probably really like this place, but for my purposes, I didn't see much that would interest me. There isn't much of a selection, and all of the fabric, except for odd bits of sale stuff, seemed to be nearly $15.00/yd. Combine all this with staff that appears to think that shoppers are an unwanted annoyance, and I won't be back. I took off one star for the lousy attitude and one star for the lack of real selection of fabric.

You may want to try using a heaver thread, or a different stitch that has more texture such as a french knot or perhaps experiment with crewel embroidery.
Facemasks and limited shoppers per public health order. Sign in also required.
We do not. I will get some Christmas Stocking classes on the schedule closer to December. We can always do a private lesson for any project at any time that works for both of us. Thank you!
We do not sell any collegiate themed fabrics
We do not do any alterations or custom sewing. That would include sewing on patches.
We have a good selection of knits that is constantly changing. Right now in the summer, I have a few ponte knits in stock, and more will be arriving come fall.
