I work remote from our rv. This is the first time we had 0 cell service in the 3 years we've been on the road, so we couldn't stay. Was told all I would need was supervisor approval for refund. Supervisor denied our refund the day after we were to depart on our four night stay. I found this extremely unfair since they made it sound like it was just a formality. We are out $175. The roads are all torn up and the sites are a not level. I hope they use my $175 to fix the big pothole at the bottom of the entrance. Hopeville pond is a much better choice for this area of CT.

We were camping during a heatwave so I'm sure that colored this narrative. Our site was large and clean. There were two pools- one 3ft all around and one graduated from 3 ft to 5ft. They were clean and the deeper one was crowded everyday but the 3ft was great for my daughter. They was a small playground as well. On Saturday there was an outdoor movie. Our only problem was the hornets/ wasps(I am not good at identifying) They were all over the ground on the way to the bathroom and around the pool area. Several people were stung including my daughter. We were outside so it's not really a big complaint. Overall it was nice.
