Simple, clean on a dime. Was surprised when walking into the room. Had all the things you'd find at mid range hotels. Extremely clean. Definitely, defies typical motels. Normal size hotel fridge. Small microwave and a rather large flat screen TV. Bed was a decent spring coil mattress. Bathroom was clean. Free wifi is provided, although we never used it. There are a lot of train horns in the distance, although it did not bother me. A little green space in the middle of the parking lot. Casey's gas station about a half mile passed the hotel. If you keep going away from the highway on 50, you'll pass through downtown and hit several restaurants and fast food. Or get back on the highway for a few miles and hit Industrial street with all the sit downs.
