Positive experience from the location we were in. I've been in the Rec ctr before however that was yrs ago and found it to be clean spacious and of course fun then. I try to be completely honest in these reviews and I must tell you I am not a member of the Rec. I was in another location AT the rec for dog training classes. That area was both spacious clean and easy access to get into the bldg. I will say there is plenty of parking and helpful ppl to send you where you need to be.

The facilities are definitely aging and membership isn't as cheap as places like Planet Fitness, but the offers are more comprehensive. A big draw for me is the indoor pool because I love to swim and a lot of newer facilities don't build them anymore. Also they have a gym with two full size basketball courts in it. Additional they offer many athletic classes, sports leagues, and community teams of which you can be a part.

They stayed open through the pandemic and have one of the few indoor pools in the area. My biggest complaint is the cleanliness of the men's locker room. Some of the drains look like they seldom get clean out. And the area around the urinals always stinks. The pool is usually in okay shape. But the water can get a little grimey after a swim meet or big event. I most frequently am there for the pool and the sauna. So I keep my flip-flops on and try not to think about it. Overall the equipment is pretty good, the facility is okay, and the price is right.

Love the place. Cortious and helpful staff. Many things to do. Great sauna and steam rooms. Ample parking. Definitely a place to exercise with plenty of arobic and freeweight equipment, swimming pool.
