AWFUL they transported my mother from the hosputal to rehab after she had spinal surgery. They brought a stretcher thaf was too small for her shes a big lady. The stretcher wouldnt lock into the saftey tracks in the ambulance so they kept slaming her in until it would work. They tipped over the gurney. They then said thatthat hoped their next pick up wasnt heavy because thats clearly why they had problems. By the time my mother arrived at the rehab center she had bruises from being jostled and nearly dumped. She was terrified and she doesnt scare easily. If you love your family NEVER let them ride with these people

All you have to do is read the reviews it clearly tells you how this company has been run. the positive reviews ,they more than likely beged someone to post so unorganized and pushing all Eca employees any to become solely AAA Ambulance so i wouldn't use them either the same unprofessional unorganized bunch of office staff that has run East Coast for a bit and it's all down hill the reviews on both pages tell it all loud and clear

On hold for well over 20 minutes trying to arrange for a return trip for my patient .

The ambulance drivers were great. However, the administrative staff at East Coast did not communicate well with me or each other. For example, I was told one cost for the ambulance ride and then charged another, higher price; I was faulted for not returning a call to one department at East Coast, when someone from a different department called me, and I thought we were set for my mother's transport (in other words, the two departments didn't talk to each other to ascertain that the transport of my mother had already been arranged. This is the company's problem--not mine--but I was reprimanded! How tacky and unprofessional! Granted, I don't believe the customer is always right, but for a company to scold me is outlandish!. Finally and most egregiously, I told East Coast repeatedly that my mother is incontinent, which is a major reason I paid almost $5,000.00 for her to use the company's cross-state ambulance service--as opposed to their much less expensive wheelchair-accessible van; however, the office staff failed to tell the ambulance crew that my mother's incontinent. Since the crew members are the ones actually working with my mother, this lack of communication is pretty sad. As it was, the crew called me as they were driving because they didn't know what to do. For an almost $5,000.00 ticket price, one would think that the service and staff at East Coast would be better, more on top of things, and more professional in demeanor.
