I'm convinced no one actually WORKS at this office. Or, at the very least, don't have enough common courtesy or respect to the community to even ANSWER THE PHONE when people call for assistance. For being a county assistance office, you're not assisting me... at all.

Adams County MA has the worst customer service.

I called on 04/26/2021. I really wish I remembered the ladies name. She was so helpful and courteous. 11:00 am in the morn. There are tons of recordings to get through but it was about a 2 minute wait time after that. She does a great job!

Left message and no one calls back, it’s like no one there. Call state assistance office instead

They usually don't.
I don't think so every dentist i called for any kind of work said they don't accept medicaid. Maybe the state has a clinic i didn't know about
I understand your question but this is not the forum to ask that. You can fill out disability forms online. Or you can call the assistance office to request a form
Go to the Adams County Assistance Office at: 225 S Franklin St, Gettysburg, PA 17325 Fill out the paper packet for what you need. Gas heat? Electricity? Child care? Food? Insurance? Cash? Answer all questions and submit the packet. Do you have your high school diploma? If not, call the Adams County Literacy Unit. They will teach you English, math and other things to help you. They also have an ESL class for those who speak English as a second language. You can call them at: (717)479- 7031 Good luck!
