This was my first church when I moved to DE at the end of 2011. I had lived in that neighborhood at the time. It is the home of Hope Dining Room (where I still work once a week). They serve a free hot meal to the local hungry & homeless weekdays between 12 & 1. Meals are prepated by various local churches & civic groups. They have a food pantry & clothing closet. They host groups of boy scouts & girl scouts. They formerly had a contemporary service & a traditional service but I believe they now only have one Sunday service. They also host at least one 12-step group (AA).
