So many negative things to say here so I'll keep it on the level a best I can. Same guard shack as the other thousand trails except no one was in this one and the line to get in was growing inpatient. Finally someone showed up. We were told to go pick a site but that there were only a couple available in a certain area near the pond. There were a lot of rental manufactured homes, not cabins. There are a ton of seasonal sights here. The roads are small so big rigs should stay elsewhere unless you're a true professional driver. We found a site on a windy dirt road. The few that were empty were small and unlevel. The site was small and barely fit our rig and s.u.v. If I towed with a pickup truck, I would not have been able to fit my truck at the site and would have had to park down the road in the overflow lot.. We have a pop up camper we tow with an s.u.v. to give you an idea of this. The site was not level and was dirt. Because we use a quick up canopy to shelter out cooking area, we were unable to have a fire here. The 30 amp plug worked but the 120 double outlet did not. We had to ask someone where the water hookup was as it was not easily identifiable. We were constantly sweeping and wiping dirt from our gear and tent camper. There were huge roots and rocks at our site. Be careful or you could bust an ankle here. We were near the seasonal campers who don't seem to follow any park guidelines. Loud music, barking dogs, and people not picking up after the dogs and letting the dogs just pee anywhere seemed to be commonplace here. A horrible nights sleep if you go to bed before 11pm. The camp store is small and carries no real items I would purchase. The bathhouse was clean had 3 small shower stalls, 3 sinks that don't stay on without the wave of your hand, and 3 toilets. This for the entire park. 1 bathhouse of this size is just plain insulting to people who pay good money to be here. There is a small beach around a small pond. The water doesn't look appealing. The pool is indoors and wasn't open due to repairs being done. The playground area has older equipment. The dumpster is near the camp store where you drive in so that was convenient unless your site is far away. There is a lot of negative things to say about this place and that's just the way it was for us. We won't stay here again and Thousand trails should change it's description of it's Sturbridge location because it just doesn't come close to what we experienced. The picture with the pool in the business listing for this location was not here. I don't know whos pool it was but it's not at this location.

If your talking about the thousand trail membership its around 35 a month per region (1 region by default) but if your talking about the membership for the actual campground they can vary. The one i got to where i live in new jersey is around 3 thousand i believe.
