The WellCare New Jersey website allows the user to find, review and compare plans and provides a high level of detail into the plan costs and options. Once I contacted them via phone, the representative did a very good job of answering my many questions and then getting me signed up to the plan of my choice. They contacted me after the selection was complete and continue to offer support to Medicare issues. Thanks!!!

How I feel exactly
If you check the wellcare website click the 'find a doctor's option, you will receive a list of doctors in your area. If you are receiving wellcare through NJ family care and find that the online provider directory has little to no docs and facilities In your area then call NJ family care to request a different nj NJ family care HMO. Hope this helps.

Yes RWJ is state hospital so it takes state medicaid
Please call your insurance company on the number on the back of your insurance card. It will give you providers who are in network.
If it under Medicaid, no. If it is under Medicare, yes
They may. The physician will need to submit the prescription for initial consideration along with the reasoning. Even if initially denied for off formulary, an appeal can be submitted and they will consider the other drugs that have been tried before in their decision.
