the place is relatively small, with a few racks of clothing that are mostly empty and winter gear. they have furniture, shoes, and some random assortment of householditems. i found some good movies for cheap, but that's about it. the workers are very nice!

Went there 2 months ago for utilities assistance while on my maternity leave. Still haven't heard back. Had to pay my bill by borrowing money. Dont waste your time here. You'll be in the dark. They only help who they want to. People they know get priority.

Personally loved it! Friendly place

Hi! Donations for our Angel Tree program can be brought by our office any weekday at 2410 Allen Road. The deadline for donations is December 2. Thank you for your help!
We accept calls for utilities on Monday mornings, beginning at 8 am. Just have your current electric bill in front of you when you call. We continue calls until all our weekly appointments are filled.
In our Social Services office,, we have implemented extensive cleaning and sanitizing protocols, social distancing and limited clients in the building at one time, masks are required at ALL times in the building, and procedures for Emergency Social Services are separated. We also have the tools for COVID screening of temperatures, etc. I hope that helps to answer your question. If you would like further information, please feel free to contact our office at 222-0304. Thank you for your inquiry.
The Salvation Army of Tallahassee does not currently offer a housing program, so we do not have hotel vouchers. We recommend contacting The Kearney Center for a safe alternative.
We do furniture vouchers with a case manager's referral for those transitioning from a state of homelessness or who have experienced a disaster documented by the Red Cross. Due to limited availability of resources, we do not have an open community furniture. Program. With a referral letter, you are welcome to come in between 10 am and 1 pm any weekday for this service. You will need to provide transportation for the items. Thank you for reaching out, and have a blessed day!
We do not currently have any vans or cars for sale, but do have a nice Family Store with clothing, furniture, and household items. We do accept cars and vans as donations at the Family Store.
Only flat screen TV. Would not accept the older models.
We do not have a rental program, but do help pay utilities.
Hello ma'am, how are you and we thank you for act of kindness during this holiday season. You can contact the office and ask for Julie or Adrian.
We do help with furniture and household items with a referral from a Case Manager for disaster survivors and homeless transitioning. If you can bring a referral to our Social Services office, we will be happy to help.
Suggest you call 211 and explain your need and see who they can refer you to. Good luck.
If you come to the store, the clerk will be able to help answer your questions.
Call the thrift store, and ask for them to pick it up for donation.
Are you a donor who has a pick up scheduled for Angel Tree donations?
Hey there! On Mondays it’s 10-2 and 2-4 and on Tuesday through Friday it’s 9 AM-10 AM. Hope this helps, God bless.
