From the very beginning, I was very impressed with the service my mother received when Right at Home was contacted. My friends and I myself were trying to find a good agency. I did not make the initial contact to Right At Home. On the evening of July 3rd, 2019, one of the owners of the agency called me in response to my friend’s inquiry. I was shocked that someone would call me on the eve of a major holiday. No other agency that I or my friends researched did. The owners Sandy and Phil are caring and responsive. I never got a chance to meet or speak to Sandy but my friend did. I met Phil at a 10-year anniversary BBQ at the headquarters in Hicksville. When mom and I and mom’s aide were leaving, Phil actually went to get my car, parked down the street, put the AC on for us and drove it to the headquarters where we three jumped in and headed home. I very much appreciated this act of kindness. Thank you, Sandy and Phil. Debra Taglianetti, RN, was assigned to be mom’s caseworker. She is a very fine nurse. Incredibly responsive, easy going, non-threatening. When we called for any reason, Debbie T came to our home to resolve any kind of iissue. Thank you, Debbie T. Julie Pazmino has a tough job. She was on the team as my mom’s scheduler. Though there were many changes in my mom’s schedule she did her very best to accommodate us, working through various scenarios and arranging substitute aides when necessary. Thank you, Julie. Kerri Sammis was the billing person on my mom’s team. Infinitely patient! Because of an old printer and antiquated software, I could not print mom’s invoices. I actually had to ask her to send hard copies by snail mail. Thank you, Kerri. Last but not least, I’d like to commend the actual aides who worked with mom. All were professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Special kudos to Audrey Harrison. What a great help she was. She is one of the best organizers I have come across and I consider myself a very organized person. When I had to call 911 to bring my mom to North Shore hospital, her help was invaluable. I could not have done it without her. Thank you, Audrey. And thank you to all the other aides who had occasion to work for my mother!
