Pleasant little area to look around. I would honestly recommend continuing up the dirt road much farther as there is so much more to see. But, if you don't have good four-wheel drive or ground clearance, completely the understandable that this is where you would make camp.

This is one of our favorite spots! It's beautiful and you can bring the kids and dogs. Parking is 5 dollars with a pass, bring a towel and enjoy the river

Went to cooper hole, was packed but a beautiful site. Would definitely suggest going there for a sunny day swim. Campground is nice as well. Not too crowded and a good spot close to the river, great for a weekend camping experience!
