When I had a side-to-side collision with the other car, driver of which admitted that he made an invasive maneuver while claiming that another car appeared in his path, which caused the accident; the insurance company - Progressive, brilliantly decided that in their judgment the "third car" is liable for this. A big "little" detail here is that another driver is also insured by Progressive. And since we know nothing about the third car, the Progressive decided that both of us should use "collision". Which means I will now need to pay the deductible. But why should I? I was hit by another car. The other driver must check his side before switching lanes. Progressive fights for every dollar to themselves leaving customers in the wake of unfair expenses for which they promised to cover their clients.
