After this discussion on Facebook messenger on a very disappointing root touch up and lowlight, I was block from "The color bar" Facebook page. Went on the Facebook page to get the salon phone number and was blocked. I feel unwelcomed and confused. I will not be back but would like a full refund.. I don't understand why I was blocked unless it was due to not wanting me to come back or afraid I would write a review that I had no intentions on doing until I was blocked. Here is the conversation the stylist/ owner and I had after my poor experience.. Me: My name is Kara, I came in last week to have my hair done with Olivia Arrieta. ( Second time) I waited a bit to message you, as I have been extremely upset about the situation. I walked in with platinum hair and asked for the lightest blonde lowlights. I said, absolutely do not want red in my hair, it just doesn't go with my skin tone, it's not easy to get the red out of my hair. The lowlights were foiled and not sperated at all, you can't even tell i have lowlights, the lowlights were almost black and the bleach roots were far from the platinum hair I walked in with, it's red ( we discussed my next visit maybe tone the blonde down). The colors on my hair was absolutely not what I showed her or talked about. She did a bleach bath and it turned my hair red, she asked if I wanted to tone it again and I decided at this point, I would rather not make my hair worse and she seemed less then confident about the process. I also know the color would fade. I am one of the easiest going people and not picky at all and never complain. Hair can be fixed and grow so no big deal. I do take the time when I come off the slope to spend good money on my hair as I do appreciate my hair looking nice and neat. What has upset me, is she knew my hair did not look like I asked, or even close to what I wanted, in fact it looks horrible. I came in and and paid $190. on one of the worst hair colors jobs I have ever received. I have a extremely short pixie cut. This somehow need to be addressed. I tried to just let it fade some and see how it turned out and I have done that, I am very disappointed my hair is red and the effort it takes to get my hair back blonde. The stylist/ owner: Hi Kara , I can’t tell you how sorry I am , about our experience together , the first time I squeezed you in I don’t have enough time , and I agree with you 100% both our sessions together have been terrible . Your natural hair has a lot of warmth I don’t mind at all having you come in for me or anyone of my other ladies to redo your hair . I didn’t use any red tones in your hair but I did tone with beige which has warm tones but not any red . Any how I have time Wednesday the 6th at 3pm if your able to Come in for me to fix at no cost to you of course . Or if you returned to work then I’ll have a credit on your account for when you are able to come back in . Please let me know what you would like todo . Agin I’m sorry for our last two sessions which have been a total mess , but I look forward in remediating the situation. If you can please bring pictures of your hair color goal please it would be a visual to reference what it is you want exactly.
