What a cute little motel! Called last minute and she was so friendly and got us booked in for the night! My husband grew up in Grace and I enjoyed exploring the cute little town with him and hearing about so many stories. Then we visited my father-in-law who lives on the outskirts of town. We ate at the 3C Grill restaurant and the pulled pork was delicious! The Black Canyon Motel was one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed, and I appreciated having the A/C unit because I like it COLD when I sleep. I also really appreciated having the fridge to keep some water and extra supplies in. There was a TV in the room, but we didn’t use it. We enjoyed sitting under the covered porch outside our room and chatting in the fresh air as the rain sprinkled around us. I’d definitely stay here again!

Most comfy motel I have Stayed at in many years! They made a room available last minute and when I mentioned how hungry I was from a long drive and not eating the very nice young lady gave me two burritos, bottled water and some fudge that she had just made. It's a family-owned business and when you walk in to the front desk it's very comfortable and homey feeling with chocolates on the counter for all who come in. I felt very nurtured and rested when I left the next day!

The staff was above and beyond all that I would expect from a 5-* hotel. The beds were very comfortable and I am picky when it comes to my bed. The shampoo and conditioner were full size and not the useless dinky one time use size and I was told I could keep them, that they were mine. It was winter and my room was toasty warm with plenty of blankets and pillows. I was pleasantly surprised at how large the room and how clean it was. Sometimes in older motels, they "feel grimy" to me. Not this one it felt and looked clean. The noise level was very quiet for being right on Hwy 34. I stayed for 9 days and it was a wonderful place to stay. I really cannot say enough about the Staff. That made my stay for me. Thank You! :) . *****
