I absolutely LOVE the DK! Nick does a wonderful job with property maintenance and then you have Ms. Katie. Ms. Katie is the young beautiful face that you speak to when you call to book a room or the wonderful personality that is in the office when you checkin at midnight! Katie has made the motel as home feeling as possible down to giving travelers great food recommendations to gardening tips. Katie personally inspects the rooms to make sure they reach her standards of cleanliness prior to customers arrivals. Katie is an amazing manager, I even worked for her for almost a year and she was amazing to work for. They go out of their way to attempt to have no unhappy customers and even though theres a few people who write bad reviews this motel is the one I send everyone I know to. I personally have paid to put multiple people here under rough circumstances and have only seen one post bad reviews. Every year we have travelers stuck for vehicle repairs or too tired to keep driving. I recommend the DK and everyone (except Aimee) was pleasantly surprised at what a good little motel Dk is. I would take the bad reviews with a grain of salt! I actually paid for Aimee Mcmenamy's room (multiple nights and so did other locals) when she initially needed somewhere to stay for her visits wit her baby. Katie again was more accomadating then a motel would normally be for one customer who wasn't even paying for her own room. Unfortunately when I seen the room Aimee's baby was crawling around eating her cat/ dog food on the motel floor while she sat out smoking cigerettes. She is so bad to her own animals her not even year old dog attempted eating her (and she had her kids around this dog she made so mean). Aimee spent a few months going around asking everyone to help her out while in her rough patch and when people could no longer help her (nobody else would pay for more nights at the motel) then she accuses everyone of lying and stealing and treating her unfairly. I know of atleast 5 people she has gone after with false accusations like myself, Dk Motel, AA Market to name a few. I believe you can't knock it tell you try it and the DK is a great place to try. Thank you Katie and Nick for keeping this business so nice to add to the greatness of Arco! You guys are great and I will keep sending people your way!

Had a great night sleep at a very fair price. Front desk was very friendly. Rooms had some quirks, but it was clean and comfortable.

Anyone who says this place is clean is either blind or needs glasses. I couldn't tell if the stain on the chair was a blood stain from a recent murder or mold that just decided to grow their on its own.. the shower look like the Creature from the Black Lagoon just took a bath in there.. the TV was an old 1990 Style TV that they probably found at a garage sale.. the electrical cord hanging off the drape rod with a nice touch.. the room had a ceiling fan too bad it didn't work.. the place was decorated like a County Jail the only thing missing with bars on the window..

Vibrant woman working at front desk, helpful and informative. But it's a two to three star motel, what should anyone expect. Cheap price and easy policy for pets and guests. Easy come easy go and not many guests.
