I have been a patient at One Life Medical now Optima Medical for many years. My long time MD sadly retired. Before I had a chance to pick a new MD I had a serious medical issue and needed to be seen right away. I was assigned Raven Hooks NP. Long story short. After a few office visits resulting in inadequate medical treatment from Raven and a conversion with office manage with her letting me know how I am a valued patient and their practice would not want to lose me, she said she would look into the matter and will get back to me. She did not get back to me instead I received a certified letter with a dismissal from the practice notice. Confused, I called and asked to speak with the manager. And was told (after being on hold for a bit)she was unavailable and did not have voicemail. Hmmm unusual. Needless to say this a terrible way to treat a patient. I would stay clear of Raven Hooks NP and Optima Medical in Queen Creek. They obviously have not been able to find qualified replacements and had to settle for far less.

This used to be the best practice in town until Optima Medical took over. Now, my primary care physician left and they are trying to extort me to go for another visit to talk about my labs. I was just there two weeks ago. This is what they do when a big business comes in, they try to get another office visit just to talk about some thing that can be discussed on the phone. It was bad enough that after seven days I did not hear back about the labs and I have to call myself. Now they’re telling me we can’t talk about them unless you come in in person with another co-pay. No thank you, I will search for another primary care physician. Dr. Popa will be hard to replace.

When this practice was One Life Medical, I loved this office! Since it has been Optima Medical, it has been horrible on so many levels. Multiple times I've been told I would get a call back to schedule appointments and no one calls. It takes multiple calls from pharmacy and myself to get prescriptions refilled, and weeks of waiting with multiple phone calls to get lab results. I will be finding a new Primary Care and STRONGLY recommend not starting or continuing here as you will be frustrated and disappointed as well.

I have called multiple times with no answer. I have waited on hold just to be sent to voicemail. I tried booking online as their message suggests but you actually can only put in a request for an appointment. So sad that all the good people left.

You will have to make an appointment. Even though you may know what's wrong still have to confirm it. Hope you get better soon.

Is Lauryn King still working there?

No I havet seen her

I have called numerous times at office and no answer. Also have left messaged to Kayle Hunsanker assistant and she does not answer my messages. Are you all still opened to see patients? I am a patient of Scott Finkbeiner my primary Doctor.
