I like going to Carrows for breakfast and have no complaints, about their breakfast. However, their dinners are NOT as good as their breakfasts. On 1/26/2020 I used Door Dash to order the meatloaf dinner, with mashed potatoes, green beans and garlic toast. The dinner was packaged nicely and the presentation was nice too, but the taste was awful. The only items that tasted good in the meatloaf dinner were the green beans and the garlic toast. The meatloaf was rubbery, had a LOT of gristle and tasted like it had been stored in the freezer, since the refrigerator was invented! The mashed potatoes.... Remember the paste, that was used, in elementary school for art projects? It had a similar consistency of hair gel and sometimes the kids would take a little taste of it. Well the mashed potatoes tasted worse! There was NO flavor to the mashed potatoes. It tasted like water. It was obvious that the mashed potatoes were from a box, which is okay, but some sort of seasoning would be good. I couldn't even finish the dinner and people who know me, know that I like to eat and rarely complain about my food, not to mention that I expected so much more from a Carrows dinner. At 3am I woke up with an upset stomach and ever since have been running to the bathroom every 15 minutes! In closing...I recommend Carrows for breakfast, but if you go for dinner, stay away from the meatloaf!

good for American food. Been there and recommend for breakfast. no local flavors added. Update 8/2019: breakfast summer menu is good! wish they kept their blintzes with peaches, or any other fruit year round.
