yes, sadly, the prayer room is *not* open to the public 24/7 as IHOP advertises. 😢 I pray that Abba convicts them of this lie. But the prayer room is *usually* open to the public. It is closed to the public on sunday mornings so people will go to sunday services instead. this is the only time that i'm aware of regularly scheduled closings from the public. but during covid, they have also closed their doors to the public for periods of time.

Hopefully this will help, someone should be available to pray for your child and more information will be available at the front desk in the prayer room as well. Prayer for healing is by walk-in sign-up only. Healing ministry is subject to availability. every time that i have been in the GPR (prayer room) on sunday mornings, i have been kindly asked/told to leave by security. the security people are nice about it, but it is not optional. the prayer room has never been open to the public during sunday morning services to my knowledge. maybe it is sometimes. maybe they've changed this policy. but it is safer to expect to get kicked out sunday morning. they lock the front doors then too.

IHOP is only open to their musicians, members of their church, and staff at this time. It is still not open to the general public due to the city government's social distancing requirements that are still in effect in this area.

I have no idea how many square feet. There are tons of rooms, but only one room matters if you don't work there - the prayer room. I think there are around 700 staff at IHOPKC, but not all of us work at the prayer room location since there are other IHOPKC buildings around the same area.

You can move to the Kansas City area and become a member of the Forerunner Christian Fellowship Church. Anyone is welcome to go to the prayer room anytime. There's not really a membership to the International House of Prayer Kansas City. Those who are involved in the operations of the prayer room are full-time intercessory missionaries and raise their own support.
