City drops the bins off Friday night; collects at 12:00 Saturday. They don’t take plastic bags, and you must sort items beforehand (cardboard, paper, plastic, glass). Presumably, they take metal cans too, but there isn’t a bin for them.

Can we recycle large chunks of styrofoam here? It comes up as a link to do this, but I've never seen a bin that specifies styrofoam.

They have bins for paper, plastic/metal, glass, and cardboard. Bins are set up at some point Friday night and are available on Saturday morning until they're taken away around noon.

Does the recycling need to be separated?

You separate it on-site into different dumpsters.
