Love this spot. Great Sushi and the Service is generally super-fast. Employees are personable and pleasant. Would highly recommend.

Ordered kids fried rice, kids lo mein, crab Rangoon, fresh rolls, and Tom yum. Fried rice was the only good dish and had lots of veggies and a variety of them. Tom yum lacked lemon grass and acidity, reminded me of a miso base with spice added. Fresh rolls were inedible and contained mostly iceberg lettuce. Ragoons and lo mein were on par with cheap Chinese take out. I would narrow the menu down to what you might do well and drop all the other dishes.

Prices have gone up, and portions smaller, but it's probably still the best value for the money due to the food quality in the area. Service is mediocre, but the food usually makes up for it. We don't go as often now due to the expense. Update- had sushi last night. It was not nearly as good as last time and falling apart, likely due to being drowned in eel sauce. It tasted good, so maybe it was because they were rushed to get out for the night. I don't blame them, but I'm not sure I should be pounced on with a check and mocked/harassed by the kitchen staff as I left 15 min before closing. I've never been treated as if my business was appreciated here, but it's the best Asian American food near my house for the money so I ignore it. Unfortunately, good service went out the window with the pandemic at most places, IMO, but this place survived on food quality, not service, before.

Being from NY originally, we have tried many Asian restaurants...Chinese...Japanese...hibachi...eat-in and takeout and up to now have not found a place that compares to what we are used to. Not that the food is not good. I am not saying that at all. What I am saying is it is not made the way we are used to it being made, some dishes we like are not on the menus here and dishes we like that ARE on the menus are often made slightly differently. There is nothing wrong with that but we were trying to find a place that reminds us of what we were used to for most of our lives and will satisfy the craving for what we are used to. This place...although slightly different menu...we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The dumplings were really good. The entree we had was delicious...it was a beef and shrimp dish that came on a steaming plate and was served with white rice. We also had wonton soup and although the wonton noodles are tiny compared to the ones we had in NY...it was very tasty. We will definitely return here to satisfy our cravings when in the mood for Asian food. It is bigger inside than I had thought. Very clean and quick service with a smile. Highly recommend.
