I stopped into Klingspor's this afternoon to pick up some General Finishes stain. I have bought products several times from this location. I didn't get the gentleman's name who was at the register, but he acted like it was an un-deserved honor for me to shop there. I actually greeted him when I walked in the door. When I was at the register, he thought I was someone else, which was fine. Although, I kept thinking he must not have liked that other person, but why is he being unfriendly to me?? I shelled out $30 for a pint of stain. Woodcraft is always cheaper, but farther away. I will make the longer trip next time.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Excellent selection of hard-to-find professional/grade epoxy putty, Rubio oil, and tools.

I'm like a kid in a candy shop at this store! GREAT prices on lumber, abrasives and everything else I see. Doug really came through today with helping me find the 3" abrasive roll. They will let you be to just admire the tools but are also very ready and willing to assist. HIGHLY recommend this store and company!

They have woodworking classes at Klingspor, good way to meet others in community. NCSU has shop you can join for about $100 per semester.
They have divider screens in place at register, they are sanitizing used pens, (new pens are available and marked), credit card readers, door handles, and other common areas multiple times daily. They are asking folks to wear masks and stay 6' apart. All employees are wearing masks.
I'm pretty sure they do. Call and talk to Jay, Merle, or Cayla to confirm
There would Supply varies but they probably do. Best if you check the store
A quick search of their website shows they do carry a magnetic featherboard. Klingspor.com check it out.
Sounds like it blisteted the urethane coating. You could try sanding it down to bare wood and refinishing it again. If it colored the wood it may be difficult to even out the color unless you would think that some imperfections give it character. Hope this helps.
