Had a beautifully sunny day for my ride across the sound. The seating is spacious, bathrooms are clean and SMOKING IS ALLOWED on the outside decks!! There's a cocktail bar, cafeteria, inside booth seating/tables, the staff are very friendly and there's a FREE shuttle from the parking lot areas to the boat (tips are appreciated, this is a free service, after all). Great for a day trip π

This is a great way to break up the commute from LI to CT. Itβs really relaxing and peaceful and I love the outdoor upper deck. Itβs a bit pricey. If it was $40 round trip I would take this everyday.

This was an awesome first trip. The staff is very well organized and efficient. We were loaded on seemlessly and unloaded even smoother. The trip was over calm waters and food wasnβt overly priced. Parking on the boat was very precise.

Pricy at $65 one way, thought that I heard wrong! Really astounding if you ask me. But, the trip was convenient and uneventful. It seems organized and safe. Just what you would want in a trip.

They have a parking lot I secure
Essentially yes, but each side is slightly different. Port Jeff is very easy, passengers leave the Ferry and walk right out to the main drag running through port Jeff. There are several landmarks you can use to meet, such as the Candy store directly across the street. Bridgeport you will have to drive down an access road with limited parking at the actual terminal. Alternatively, there is also a pedestrian walkway that goes right out to water street right at the Bridgeport train station...with a little cell phone communication you can pick people up there curbside.
$56 car and driver extra $18 per passenger
Yes 18 wheelers Campers and boat with trailer anything no problems
If you have an AOL account, AOL kicks the ferry company's emails. The call center should inform you of this. Always request your "booking ID" number.
A lot of cars and trucks. They have different size ferries. Call to find out more info.
They only allow you to park on the outside and walk in.
I have also parked at the Stratford train station which is one stop away from Bridgeport. Parking is free after 12pm on weekdays and free over the weekend. 5 minute train ride to ferry.
