ππππππMUST READπππππππ Gaston County Register Deeds Hon. Susan Lockridge , Staff took part in the "Extraordinary" Trust & Inheritance celebration for Towery Maurice Burris whom about July of 2013 - October 2013 was publicly recognized after receiving a multi billion dollar Trust fund, followed by being beneficiary of several Trust & Estate Wills. Leading to his acquisition of Allen Tate properties and a large sum of Gaston county realestate. The story was released by Gaston Gazette, WSOC-9, WBTV News, WPEG Power 98 FM. Register of Deeds & Staff however was notified in 2014 of a enormous financial exploitation of Mr Burris-Hunt. Who's home & businesses were intruded and burglarized. Hundreds of property records being stolen. Deeds were forged and filed with Gaston county register deeds office omitting his name. Commercial businesses & homes throughout the county being looted, rented & claimed illegally. To date nothing has been done to resolve the exploitation.

Ms. Briana Davis at the office was so very helpful. Dealing with matters at any government office can be stressful but she helped us get our Marriage License without any stress. Thank You so much Briana!!

Clerk of Court handles the documents and detail of probate until settled. If you are searching for documents recorded at the Register of Deeds, it's not all public information.
Life insurance is not necessarily included in estate information. Life insurance is handled via the issuing company. If a beneficiary is named, no one else can claim. If they are deceased, insurance companies ask us to name contingent beneficiaries. So, unless you are named, or have custody or guardianship to care for that person via court order, you are not entitled to information. However, that does not qualify you to get the money. It would be ordered into a trust for the intended beneficiary. Your questions are personal. The courts and insurance company will issue to legal beneficiary. So, no worries! It took twelve years to settle my Dad's estate and I am his only child.
You can look online at the Register of Deeds. It will show you public documents recorded pertaining to properties
How do I get certified copy of my divorce decree?
Yes you can. Only close family members are allowed to get certified copies. You can get a certified copy for ten dollars. You need your ID. It's a simple form. Just go in person because it is easier. Notarization is for adoptions. Only Raleigh sends those.
Yes. When you go to get copies of certain records, your signature must be notarized. There is a charge for notarization and the copies.
Contact the Board of Elections. The know all about that topic because they have to cross check each voter. He can register to vote when he renews his driver's license. The BOE encourages voter registration. They can tell you when to come their to register. If he's not approved, they will notify him.
Just search each individual property on their websites. Search by address or names. It will show all heirs in a list on each property and the estate, trust, etc.
They have completed the new system implementation. However, they do have changes to complete. It is normal for them to take the site down at night and weekends. They do announce it. You will see a little box on the bottom right corner when you go to website. They have been transitioning for a couple of years. Not all data is available for development properties, Duke Energy , etc.
Have an attorney draw up a new deed. Do not risk doing it yourself or some non attorney doing a new deed. If it is botched it could cost you a whole lot more than the cost of a new deed.
Not all information that gets recorded is public information. If the trust fund belongs to you and is active, your attorney/administrator is your best resource for information. If you created the trust fund for someone and need another copy, your attorney's office has that. If you are inquiring about another person's trust fund, that's confidential and their personal business.
