The lights here are not very good. The home plate area is very dusty and uneven. The pitching mound is flat and very soft.

It was nice visiting an old school ballpark HOWEVER the restroom was AWFUL. I ended up going to QuikTrip. I hope the town gets a grant or something to upgrade the restroom.

It probably is however baseball is played on it and the players might look askance at any "gifts" left on the field.

i see that it may be ok to bring your pups here as long as you pick up (to me that is a given) - is the ball field totally fenced in - so they can run without fear of them taking off by distraction? Thank you

The field is fenced in but stands & surrounding areas are not, I would just bring a leash & or cord to tie your pet up, but it is a great place to bring a dog if they're secured properly
