Great care taken with Social distancing and PPEs. Excellent location and facilities. Very upscale and clean medical offices and clinics clustered together in one convenient spot, ,offering quick turnaround time and no wait times once you arrive at your appointment Physicians at this location and therapists at this location are all very reputable and leading professionals in their fields, and are known for providing direct consultation without long wait times or missed communication from large staffed facilities. Almost feels like concierge medical practice.

Carolina Performance is conveniently located within the American Institute of Health & Fitness building. It is part of a health park. One of the benefits of being located within a health park is having a pharmacy located on the same floor as the doctor's office. Health Park Pharmacy is usually more affordable then the chain store pharmacies. One thing a potential patient should keep in mind is that Carolina Performance is made up of many different doctors and that each doctor runs their own practice independently. I have been coming here for almost 5 years and sometimes there is a receptionist to check you in and sometimes their isn't. Each patient needs to learn what their doctors schedule is and what their policies are. You will be contacting the doctor directly for appointments, medication concerns or refill requests, and any other matter that arises. I see Dr.Dittmer and he is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had. I 100% believe that without his support and understanding I might never have gotton better or reached the goals I set for myself. He is very responsive to texts and was available to talk to my other doctors when I had to have emergency surgery. I really appreciate how much time he commits to his patients. I have never felt like a number. He has never made me feel bad or less then human and I can't say that for every doctor I have visitedover the years. Fees are also very reasonable. Honestly I can't say enough good things about Dr.D. Even though I live in Charlotte now, I will continue to make the 2 hour drive to continue my treatment at Carolina Performance.

People who suffer with opioid use disorder treated with methadone should taper down on their dose at their OTP and do the switch at the OTP, that way if you get precipitated withdrawal the first time you get a small dose of buprenorphine, the OTP could give you methadone to treat it and then taper you lower and try again. Once you are on buprenorphine, give us a call or email and we can get you seen within a few days since we have 8 waivered physicians and have each day covered by several MDs.

We do prescribe Suboxone. We have 8 waivered physicians. We typically do not accept patients who are not currently or soon-to-be NC residents. Our pricing page, shows who takes which insurance. Thanks!
