Last minute MOTEL stay. Not a hotel at all. 100% contactless check in and check out. Sounds nice but there’s really bad reception so I never got the check in email. Spoke to John about 4 times using a call box because the front desk was nowhere to be found and the door to get to the front desk was locked. Room itself was fine. Water pressure in the shower and temperature was great but the walls are SUPER thin. Lost of fun being had by our neighbors if you get what I mean. Hotel is by the highway so earplugs are a must. No amenities besides a tv and coffee machine. Went to Barcelona wine and bar i next door and their food was to die for. One of the only reasons why I gave the hotel 2 stars.

This hotel had tons of potential with a cool look and a restaurant on site! I stayed here for a business trip and enjoyed my room, very clean and cool decor. The restaurant was pretty yummy and easy, just steps from my door. However, once I decided to call it a night, it was next to impossible to fall asleep with loud blaring music from the restaurant downstairs and skews of people yelling outside my window. There was also a terrible sewer smell somewhere nearby that filled my room even with all doors and windows closed. I wanted to love it, but not being able to have a quiet enjoyment until the music stopped at 1am was not up to par for me.

Positive: Located off the interstate, but still quiet Negative: Smoke alarms went off at 7:00. There are signs everywhere about how sensitive the smoke alarms are. There is a sign warning you that opening the bathroom door right after a shower could trigger the alarm

If you're just looking for a clean place to crash, this is it. I was impressed with how clean the room was, and I'm a fan of the contactless check in. I wasn't prepared to not have a microwave or refrigerator, I must have missed that detail when I booked the room. It was slightly inconvenient to run to Starbucks each morning for coffee, but not a huge deal. I didn't check out the restaurant or lounge because they were packed which I'm guessing is a good sign. Enjoyed my stay well enough, and would book again as long as as was certain I would be getting a fridge and microwave 😀
