Tooo loud.toooo closely seated near next table. Didnt feel safe about germs of covid cause we had to lean close to hear each other. Good food.

A neighbor recommended this place as having lobster rolls which is what drew us to go there in the first place. However once we arrived it was disappointing to hear that they don’t serve which is fine. So we decided on a Chelsea burger as requested medium well. When we received our food it was well done. Total opposite! Unsure how you mess up a burger but to say the least won’t be back unless it’s solely for drinks as the bar looks appealing. Nice decor and the ambiance is nice. Fantastic vibe, just the right amount of attention. An app and a salad for dinner and no pressure to imbibe. Warm spring night air allowed for an open awning that added to the mood. Will return.

This is a review that I forgot to write, from a visit in November. Not my first visit to The Chelsea, but this time I took friends. The tables were very nicely setup to observe all of the rules of social distancing. We had a lovely night out, and enjoyed the food The Chelsea is so famous for. I started off the meal with their delicious Mile High Manhattan (Tin Cup Colorado Whiskey & Alessio Rosso Vermouth, Amerena cherry & a dash of whiskey barrel aged bitters) We shared an appetizer of Calamari, that came with General Tso's glaze, arugula & Thai chili mayo. My main course was Scallops, pan seared over mushroom risotto, wilted spinach leaves & toasted slivered almonds. One of my friends had Chicken 'Scarpariello' (pan-roasted half a bird, spicy cherry peppers & smash-fried red bliss potatoes) and my other friend had a Tuna Burger, topped w/ avocado, tomato, bean sprouts & spicy mayo. The food at The Chelsea is always absolutely mouthwatering. The portions are a great size. They are continuing today to do in-door dining, as well as carry-out.
