An amazing, historic hotel at West Point. While not in the secure military post of USMA (so it is open to the public), the Thayer is very much part of the academy tradition and culture. The facility is well kept, and full of heritage, and the staff are top-notch.

We stayed at the Thayer Hotel the beginning of May. We absolutely adored the charm and history of The Thayer. I felt like I was in Europe. The accommodations were great, they have a great fitness room and the staff was extremely nice and helpful (especially with us coming in so late after a 13 hour drive). Enjoyed eating at Zulu Time, but didn’t have enough time to try the other restaurants. Will definitely stay there as much as we can over the next 4 years!

Beautiful place. Scene outstanding of the Bear mountains. Not a bit of garbage seen around any houses. Government kept clean as a whistle as they say back in the day. Staff friendly and reception hall for the wedding was awesome with the view. The food was plenty and appeasing to my appetite. Highly recommend for wedding reception if possible. Use WAZE to get you there. Less than an hour from Middletown NY.

The hotel is tremendous! Lots to see, great fireplace in the lobby. Be sure to note the chandelier from the original West Point hotel. Excellent service by extremely friendly staff. In all honesty, the restaurant is struggling a bit in terms of tabling entrees with side items and having them come out together. But even then, they are still super friendly. I would definitely go back, hopefully in the fall when it's even more beautiful near the Hudson River.

I'm sorry I do not know this answer. We didn't stay their. Only went to the bar that is at the hotel.
Lovely spot. Helpful, pleasant service, delicious food. Memorable experience.
It is best that you call the hotel and ask them
Thursday
I have no idea, to be honest. However, I would postulate that they will offer Thanksgiving dinner if conditions are favorable to it. Your best bet is to call the hotel.
